After what seemed like hours, but must’ve only been a few minutes, the shaking stops and you try to see if everyone is okay. It’s dark, but as you call out to your teammates they all start to respond in turn in calling out that they’re safe.

“What happened?”, one of them calls out to you, not really expecting you to know the answer.

“I think it was an earthquake, that’s the only thing that could’ve caused that kind of force.” You answer as you get you to pull out a torch and start to inspect your surroundings. Realising as you move around in the tightly confined space that is left, that you’re completely surrounded by rocks with no clear path out of the tunnel.

“What do we do now?”, another calls out as they realise the same thing that you do.  That you’re all trapped.

“We start to dig boys and fast. I have a feeling there are more aftershocks on their way and I think we’d want to get out of here before that happens” you call out to your team trying to find as hopeful as possible, but you already have this sinking feeling in your stomach that today could very easily be your last.

                                         ...........................................................................

In Trapped! you play as a team of miners (2-6 players) who following an underground earthquake are trapped in a mine and need to find a way out. Due to the earthquake, the tunnels have shifted around and you have to work as a team to explore the now altered tunnels to find the elevator shaft before you get trapped in further rock falls or die of thirst and hunger.

As a team you want everyone to survive, if a single member doesn’t make it, everyone loses, so the aim is to work together to balance your ability to explore the mine, protect your fellow players and find a way out of this unstable mine before its too late.
